Terms and Conditions

In confirming quotes and/or instructing any works with Gas & Heating Think Tank you are agreeing to the following conditions:   

Damage Repairs; At GHTT we endeavour to do our utmost in avoiding causing damage where possible. However, in the event where it is unavoidable, we won't be responsible for making good of any aesthetic damage that may occur during the completion of any gas, heating, plumbing or associated works. We recommend that another contractor such as a Plasterer or Painter & Decorator will need to cover this aspect, as they specialise in this.   

Access Issues; If for any reason access is not given to the property at the agreed appointment time or the appointment is cancelled without a minimum of 24 hours prior notice, then a missed appointment fee will be issued to you at the cost of our agreed call out fee.  

Materials; Any materials that are ordered as special order from our suppliers we will take upfront payment prior to commencing the works. If for any reason the works are cancelled the materials are not refundable.  

Works; Any work cost, equating to over £1000.00+vat we would require a 50% payment up front, before works can commence. All labour works are guaranteed for 3 months.  

Parts and materials warranty are dependent on individual manufacturers' terms. In some instances where parts need to be changed under manufacturers warranty, you may need to pay labour costs for this replacement as this is no fault of Gas & Heating Think Tank’s labour. 

Phone Consultation;  With qualified Engineer, without instruction of works, will be charged at £30.00+VAT  

Phone fix or diagnosis;  Diagnosis and/or fixing a problem over the telephone will be chargeable at a fixed fee of £40.00+VAT
